Ross's Art Gallery

It has come to my attention that as founder of this site, that there is a severe lack of my own personal artwork posted here! So, in an attempt to rectify this, the Ross Art Gallery section will showcase the Minerva related artwork I have drawn over MMPSH's six years on the net. Sit back, relax, and enjoy some of the best and worst artwork to flow from the tip of my pencil!

Please be patient as I amass my artwork. Some are packed away, some are not even scanned, and most are scattered among friends. Thanks!

Okay, as odd as this may seem, there is a story that goes along with it. John and I were talking one night about how sad it was that Minerva never got more than two shows and a handful of cameos. Also, that she is such a versatile character, that she could almost fit into any show. So, it got suggested that I do a quick drawing of Minerva and Beavis & Butthead, who we both find amazingly funny. Well, I took that idea a bit farther and this is what happened!
Oh, and this comic was drawn on rather large paper. Paper that turned out to be too big for my scanner. So, I ended up having to sew up a bunch of small scanned clippings in an attempt to get it all put together, which took me about two weeks. Moral? Use smaller paper.

Another old picture that fellow site moderator John B. dug up. I still think that Johney Bravo was one of the best Cartoon Cartoons to come out of CN.

Oh the many deaths the adult female puts herself through for the sake of her figure.

Remember when you actually had time to take a bath? And even play while taking one?

One in a set of pictures that I sent to John B. consisting of random day to day scenes of Minerva and her niece Stephanie from the Minerva Mink Story. There is nothing more fun than playing dress up for little girls, and big ones too. ;)

Another in a set of pictures that I sent to John B. of Minerva and her niece Stephanie from the Minerva Mink Story. I got this idea while watching a friends water garden. It would go to figure that if big ponds are for big minks, then little minks would need a little pond.

More pictures that I sent to John B. of Minerva and her niece Stephanie from the Minerva Mink Story. When in California, do what the Californians' do!Are there any girls on the west coast who don't know how to roller skate?

This picture was done this following year as an addition to my portfolio. It turned out far better than I could ever have hoped, but then maybe that's because of the subject material. :)

A very early sketch from 02. Oddly, I don't remember drawing this one, nor the caption that was over Minerva's head. Obviously a Valentines Day concept.

Teen Minerva rocking out in Cyndi Lauper clothing. Whenever I think of Minerva in her teenage years, Cyndi springs to mind.

This was done as a Christmas card joke for a friend in 02. A throw away joke you have probably heard before with a little Minerva twist.

Probably not the best look for Minerva, but another Cyndi inspired idea done for my portfolio.

A pun drawing of Night of the Living Dead spawned this picture. Her face doesn't look right, but yet, does all at the same time. Weird....

Minerva concept art for the Minerva Mink Story.

Some thumb nail drawings done for the old site. I had colored versions, but they were lost with the last great computer crash. I defy anyone to guess where the poses come from. >:)
